Dr. Lexi Lain, ND
Dr. Lexi Lain got her Pre-Med degree at Oklahoma State University and her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, the top naturopathic medical school in the country. During her studies she traveled to Italy to study the Mediterranean Diet and then to Germany and the Czech Republic to study Balneology, the healing properties of water. After graduating from Bastyr, she set up her private practice in Seattle, Washington and specialized in pain management. She has since moved her practice to Davidson, North Carolina and has a special interest in autoimmune diseases and immune dysfunction.
Why Naturopathic Medicine?
Dr. Lain became ill during her undergraduate studies and was overdosed with the wrong medications which lead to Steven Johnson Syndrome. Where she was sick for months, homeopathy saved her life in 2 weeks. Because of this experience, Dr. Lain realized there was more to medicine and healing than what was currently being presented. She discovered Bastyr University and Naturopathic Medicine and set sail on this exciting journey.
Dr. Lain’s mission is to first lead by example and second, to share with the world a better kind of medicine that prevents diseases and respects the body’s natural processes for healing.
